Comprehensive Broadband Service "Yahoo! BB" Users Exceed Four Million Mark

SOFTBANK CORP. announces that the number of "Yahoo! BB" ADSL lines installed, the comprehensive broadband service jointly provided by wholly owned subsidiary, SOFTBANK BB Corp. (Head office: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; President & CEO: Masayoshi Son; "SOFTBANK BB") and Yahoo Japan Corporation (Head office: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President & CEO: Masahiro Inoue; Security Code: 4689), broke the four million mark on March 31, 2004 (the preliminary figures). This has been achieved approximately 31 months since the service was launched.

The number of "Yahoo! BB" users exceeded the one million mark by the end of September 2002 which is about one year after the launch of the commercial service in September 2001, two million mark in early February 2003, three million in August 2003, and four million today. Consequently "Yahoo! BB" has the largest number of users among domestic broadband service providers at present.
