The business activities of the SoftBank Group are supported by about 240,000 shareholders (as of March 31, 2016). While striving to manage its business to meet shareholders' expectations, the Group aims to minimize information gaps between Japan and overseas and to provide timely and accurate information. As part of this commitment, the Group's earnings results briefings are streamed live simultaneously on our website and Ustream and presentation contents can be followed on Twitter.
SoftBank Group Corp. (“SBG”) has been recognized for investor relations (“IR”) activities such as these through third-party awards and rankings.
For the fourth consecutive year, SBG's corporate and IR web pages ranked first in both the Gomez IR website ranking by Morningstar Japan K.K. and the Internet IR Awards, organized by Daiwa Investor Relations Co., Ltd.
Since winning its first Nikkei Annual Report Award in 2007, SBG has consistently been recognized for the quality of its annual reports, winning awards four times and taking the top prize on one occasion. The Awards were established to improve the quality and penetration of annual reports issued by Japanese companies, and winners are selected by a panel of judges, which includes active institutional investors.
We will continue to disclose timely and accurate information to our shareholders and investors and further enhance our IR materials and activities.

SoftBank Group Corp., Yahoo Japan Corporation

SoftBank Group Corp. (“SBG”) and Yahoo Japan have been included in the FTSE4Good Index*1, a global index for socially responsible investments (SRI), since 2007, and, for the first time*2, the more recently launched FTSE Blossom Japan Index*1 in August 2017. These indices serve as a measure of CSR fulfillment for use in investment decisions alongside conventional financial evaluations. The two companies are highly regarded for their CSR initiatives, including constructive relationship building with stakeholders, proactive environmental preservation initiatives, risk management in supply chains and prevention of bribery with governmental bodies. SBG and Yahoo Japan will continue to enhance their CSR initiatives going forward.
