SoftBank to Offer 1,000 ‘Pepper’ Units on July 31

SoftBank Robotics Corp. and SoftBank Corp. today announced that 1,000 units of ‘Pepper’, the world's first personal robot that has its own emotions, will go on sale in Japan starting from 10am on July 31, 2015. Customers will be able to place orders for Pepper online at the SoftBank website. This July sales portion follows the initial 1,000 units offered on June 20, which sold out in one minute.
