Toshihiro Aoki

• Profile
  From April 2015 to March 2020, I was affiliated with the KEK Theory Center, Institute of Particle and Nuclear Studies, High Energy Accelerator Research Organization (KEK), where I conducted research in theoretical physics, particularly in theoretical particle physics, with a particular emphasis on superstring theory (matrix model). In March 2020, I obtained a Ph.D. in Science from the Department of Particle and Nuclear Physics, School of High Energy Accelerator Science, The Graduate University for Advanced Studies. From April 2020 to September 2023, I worked at the Artificial Intelligence Research Center, National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST), focusing on research and development in deep learning, with a particular emphasis on AI quality, computer vision, and hyperparameter optimization. Since October 2023, I have joined SoftBank Corporation and have been working in the Quantum Technology Development Section, Advanced Technology Development Department, Research Institute of Advanced Technology, where I am engaged in research and development related to quantum computing.
