SoftBank Corp. and Samsung Sign MoU to Collaborate in the Field of AI-RAN

SoftBank Corp. (“SoftBank”) and Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. (“Samsung”) today announced that they have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in October 2025 to collaborate in the field of AI-RAN. Under this agreement, the two companies will jointly define and promote research and development in four candidate areas related to AI-RAN — “6G”, “AI for RAN”, “AI and RAN” and “Large Telecom Model” — with the aim of accelerating innovation and realizing the next generation of network infrastructure.
