As reported in a previous article, last year SoftBank Corp. (TOKYO: 9434) teamed up with EAMS ROBOTICS Co., Ltd. and Uhuru Corporation to conduct a trial for delivering fish caught right out of the ocean with an autonomous drone and SoftBank's high-precision positioning service "ichimill".
This video features the drone in action, delivering freshly caught skipjack tuna to a roadside diner. It also shows how drones, coupled with high-precision positioning, can enrich our lives by helping with tower inspections, disaster mitigation and logistics. In collaboration with local governments and agencies, SoftBank will work to solve regional issues using drones.
