SOFTBANK CORP. reports the progress of “Yahoo! BB” comprehensive broadband service jointly provided by wholly owned subsidiary, SOFTBANK BB Corp.*1 (Headquarter: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; President & CEO: Masayoshi Son) and Yahoo Japan Corporation (Headquarter: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President & CEO: Masahiro Inoue; Security Code: 4689).
The number of Yahoo! BB lines grew steadily and increased by 230,000 although the month had fewer working days, compared to the previous month (November 2002), due to year-end and New Year's holidays.
