Sustainability
Initiatives Driven
by the Group
SoftBank Corp. and its group companies position sustainability as a key driver of new business opportunities and are accelerating their ESG management.
As part of these initiatives, the Company organizes the SDGs Action Award to capture, highlight and share insights from business and value creation initiatives across the group companies that address social challenges.
About the SDGs Action Award
Through recognizing initiatives that demonstrate excellence in innovation, originality, and versatility, this award aims to enhance awareness of and motivation for ESG promotion, while creating opportunities for each employee to learn from external best practices and gain inspiration for new challenges and business ideas.
The awards are structured into four categories based on the nature of the initiatives: the SDGs Award Grand Prize, presented to the most outstanding initiative; the SDGs Business Award, recognizing initiatives that capitalize on the Company's strengths; the SDGs Promotion Award, honoring initiatives that demonstrate strong implementation momentum, including organizational development and information dissemination; and the SDGs Good Practice Award, recognizing exemplary and easily replicable initiatives regardless of company size or business characteristics.
