SOFTBANK BB Corp. (Head office: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; President & CEO: Masayoshi Son; hereinafter "SOFTBANK BB") will open "Yahoo! BB Broadband Guide" (URL:http://brobanguide.jp/) at noon, October 29, 2003. The website provides a guide to broadband content and is part of an effort to bolster the contents of the company's "Yahoo! BB" comprehensive broadband service (3,248,000 members has at the end of September 2003).

"Yahoo! BB Broadband Guide" will be the largest broadband contents guide site in Japan, and is produced and operated with the cooperation of the Editorial Department of "Yahoo! BB Magazine," a monthly Internet Information magazine published by Softbank Publishing Inc. (Head office: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President & Chief Exective Officer: Makoto Okazaki). It focuses mostly on free content that can be enjoyed in broadband environments and covers a wide range of genres, including sports, news and photos and so on. It is provided for free primarily to "Yahoo! BB" members.

Program information is divided into nine genres: 1) music, 2) movies, 3) sports, 4) variety, 5) animation, 6) games, 7) news, 8) photos and 9) specials. Upon arriving at the top page, users move to detailed broad band contents guide pages by clicking on the graphics for the "Today's Recommendation" corner or selecting a favorite genre from the menu provided. There are also "Play" buttons that can be clicked to start videos and "Go To Site" buttons that will take the users to the content site, helping users to enjoy the programming more efficiently.

The site also contains a "Live Program Table" that lists live Internet events available to broadband environments, including musical performances, news, live programs and live sports broadcasts.

"Yahoo! BB Broadband Guide" updates the "Recommended Contents" section at noon every day with 10 new programs. For its opening on October 29th, it will list more than 500 programs in nine genres. By January 2004 it plans to have information on more than 1,000 programs, seeking to become both the largest and the best broadband guide site in Japan.

The full content of "Yahoo! BB Broadband Guide" is restricted to "Yahoo! BB" members, but non-members can view the top page and genre menus.
