SoftBank Mobile Waives Fees for SMS to the
Philippines Following Typhoon Haiyan

We wish to extend our heartfelt condolences to all those affected by Typhoon Haiyan.

In the wake of this devastating typhoon, SoftBank Mobile Corp. (SoftBank Mobile) is waiving and crediting SMS sent from Japan to the Philippines*1 and SMS sent from the Philippines on SoftBank mobile phones*2 retroactively from 12:00 am November 8 and continuing through to 11:59 pm December 7, 2013.
