In the “Global Mobile Network Experience Awards 2021” announced in March 2021 by Opensignal, a U.K. based mobile network analytics firm, we ranked first in the world in the “Video Experience” and “Gaming Experience” categories, and second in the “Voice App Experience” category.

In a customer satisfaction survey of system vendors that support the sales and introduction of cloud-type groupware products for enterprises, SoftBank has ranked first in overall satisfaction for the third consecutive year since 2016.
Nikkei Computer Customer Satisfaction Survey 2019‒2020
No. 1 in the IoT/LPWA service category and the network service (wireless) category
In a survey that evaluates satisfaction with IT vendors in each product and service category, we ranked first in the IoT/LPWA service category and the network service (wireless) category.
SoftBank Corp. ranked No. 1 in overall satisfaction in the major enterprise market segment of the J.D. Power 2022 Corporate Network Services Customer Satisfaction Survey.
In a survey of companies using corporate network services, we received the highest overall rating for the four factors (areas) that affect overall satisfaction with network services: “service content/quality”, “trouble/troubleshooting”, “sales and installation support”, and “cost”.

At the CR Reporting Awards 2022 hosted by Corporate Register in the United Kingdom, our sustainability report has won the “Innovation in Reporting” award for two consecutive years.
「Asia Sustainability Reporting
At the Asia Sustainability Reporting Awards 2021, Asia's leading corporate reporting awards, SoftBank Corp. received gold for “Asia's Best SDG Reporting” and silver for “Asia's Best Climate Reporting”.
SoftBank Corp. is the only Japanese company to win the “Asia Sustainability Reporting Award 2021”.
Next-generation certification mark (Kurumin)
Based on the Act to Advance Measures to Support Next-Generation Child-Rearing, SoftBank achieved the targets established in the Plan of Action for General Employers, became certified by the Minister of Health, Labour and Welfare as “a company which supports child care” and received the “Kurumin next-generation certification mark” in June 2011. Furthermore, in February 2017 SoftBank received the “Platinum Kurumin special certification mark,” which is granted to companies that implement the initiatives to a high degree, in recognition of the company's efforts thus far to promote the introduction and use of systems which support the balance between work and child-rearing.
SoftBank has received the “Eruboshi” designation (class 2) from the Minister for Health, Labor and Welfare in recognition of being a company that excels in the empowerment of women. Going forward, we will maintain efforts to promote the success of women, such as holding career training for female employees and implementing mentoring programs.
PRIDE Index Gold Rating
SoftBank was awarded the highest “Gold” rating in the PRIDE index for policies regarding LGBTQ and other sexual minorities within the Company for the sixth straight year since 2017.
The “PRIDE Index” commends companies for excellence in LGBTQ initiatives. It was established by the private organization “work with Pride” aimed at the broad recognition of concrete measures for the creation of workplaces where LGBTQ and other sexual minorities can work comfortably.
Excellence in Corporate Health and Productivity Management Category (White 500)
SoftBank was selected as a “White 500” organization 4 years in a row in the “Health Management Paid Corporation 2022 large enterprise category by the Ministry of Economy”, Trade and Industry and the Nippon Kenko Kaigi for excellence in healthcare management efforts.
NIKKEI Smart Work
SoftBank was recognized as a 5-star company in the 6th Nikkei Smart Work Management Survey (November 2022), which selects leading companies that are challenging the productivity revolution through work style reforms.
This survey has been conducted by Nikkei Inc. since 2017.
The survey targets listed companies and leading non-listed companies nationwide, and defines “smart work management” as efforts to maximize organizational performance through three elements: the realization of diverse and flexible work styles, a system for creating new businesses, and the ability to develop markets. It is rated on a 5-star scale.
the award was given in the category of “Innovation Power in 2022” in recognition of the company's system for promoting innovation, including the success in creating new venture companies through the “SoftBank InnoVenture” new business proposal system, the large number of foreign nationals in research and other positions, the high ratio of IT personnel among full-time employees, and the company's proactive efforts to develop human resources in cutting-edge fields.
Additionally, we received the Technology Utilization Award for selecting new graduates by using AI (artificial intelligence), in creating diverse and flexible work styles by incorporation of Robotic Process Automation (RPA) software and the development of technology such as the cashless payment service “PayPay”.
Hataraku Yale 2022 Excellent Benefits Corporation
The Hataraku Yale 2022 Superior Employee Benefit Corporation Award, the highest award given by the Hataraku Yale, which certifies and honors companies that make efforts to enhance and utilize employee benefit programs, was given to SoftBank Corp. for its particularly outstanding efforts.
The 100 Telework Pioneers
Among companies and organizations promoting installation and utilization of telework, the company received the “ Award of Minister for Internal Affairs and Communications for 100 Telework Pioneers” as an organization making excellent efforts that other organizations should follow as a role model.
CompTIA Certified Team Award
As a strategic and necessary area for solution human resources in the provision of customer digital solution infrastructure and DX promotion, more than 80% of engineers in the entire organization obtained CompTIA certification, fulfilled the requirements for the award, and became the first Japanese company to receive the “CompTIA Certified Team Award”.
Tokyo Sports Promotion Company
SoftBank was certified as a “Tokyo Sports Promotion Company” for excellence the sports support area and the promotion of sports activities for employees.
Sports Yell Company
SoftBank is certified as a “Sports Yell Company” by the Japan Sports Agency for its proactive promotion of sports to improve the health of all employees.
